Description
The building is a village hall that was originally a national school, constructed in 1841. It is made of coursed rubble with a Welsh slate roof and is a single storey structure featuring three bays. The building has quoins and between the first and second windows, there is a 20th-century gabled porch with a board door and a casement window on the left side. The windows are pointed-arched, consisting of two lights with Y tracery. It has shaped kneelers and ashlar coping. A cast-iron ventilator is located on the ridge in the first bay, and there is an ashlar bellcote positioned between the second and third bays, with an end stack to the right. There is a brick flat-roofed extension at the rear, which is not of special interest. The original school was replaced by a new school in 1967. This building is included for its group value.
