Description

No. 28 on The Green is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three first-floor windows. There are quoins on the right side of the house. Below the third first-floor window, there are board-leaved doors set in a segmental-arched carriageway made of dressed stone. Between the first and second first-floor windows, there is a part-glazed door framed by an ashlar surround. The windows are 16-pane sash windows, each with ashlar projecting sills and deep lintels. A ridge stack is located between the second and third first-floor windows.
