Description

Sunset Cottage is an early to mid-19th century house located on The Green in Ravensworth. The structure is built of coursed rubble with a Welsh slate roof. The house is two storeys high and comprises two bays. It features quoins. The central doorway is set within an ashlar surround, and the windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor windows have 16 panes and projecting sills with deep lintels. Ashlar capping sits atop the walls, and corniced end stacks are present. Single-storey lean-to outbuildings, located to the left and right of the main house, are not considered to be of particular architectural interest.
