Description

Holme Bridge over Holme Beck is a bridge built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed and dressed sandstone and features a single segmental arch. The arch has dressed stone voussoirs and a soffit. The spandrels and parapets are made of coursed rubble, with the parapets topped by square coping stones. Above the center of the arch, on both sides, there is a dressed rectangular stone that appears to be uninscribed.
