Description
This is a cottage, dated 1699, with later alterations. It is built of rubble and has a 20th-century clay pantile roof. The cottage comprises a single storey and three rooms. It features quoins. Between the first and second windows is a 20th-century part-glazed door with an overlight, set within a quoined, chamfered ashlar surround. An inscription on the lintel reads "D" R M 1699. There are four-pane sash windows with projecting sills, and deep lintels with herringbone tooling in drafted margins. The building has an ashlar coping and brick stacks located between the second and third windows, and at the right end. The cottage is included on the list for its group value.
