Description

Wisteria House is a late 18th-century house located on The Green in Adderbury. It is constructed of marlstone ashlar with a Welsh-slate roof and brick stacks. The house has a 2-unit plan, incorporating a long rear wing and a coach-house range. The main two-storey block has an attic, and features three irregularly-spaced three-light casement windows at the first floor. A central six-panel door sits between four-light canted bay windows on the ground floor. The shallow-pitched roof has gable parapets, with stacks positioned at both gables and to the right of centre. A lower range to the right of the main block includes a depressed-arched coach-house door and an inserted garage door. The left gable of the main range has a three-light leaded casement window. The interior has not been inspected.
