Description
This is a late 18th-century house located on the north side of The Green in Hutton Rudby. It is constructed of ashlar stone with flush quoins, and has a Welsh slate roof with sprocketted eaves, stone gable copings, and chimneys. The house is two storeys high and arranged with three bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door with an overlight incorporating margin lights, set within a panelled reveal. A Roman Doric doorcase, decorated with a paterae frieze, frames the door. Flanking the entrance are early 19th-century canted bays. The first-floor windows are sash windows, each set under a stuccoed flat arch with a keystone. Corniced chimneys are located at each end of the building.
