Description
No 22 is a house located on the north side of The Green in Hutton Rudby, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and roughcast, featuring a stepped and cogged eaves cornice and stone dressings. The roof is pantiled, with stove trim and brick stacks. The building has two storeys and three irregular bays, with chamfered alternating quoins. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight, set within a pilastered surround topped with a cornice. On either side of the door are 20th-century casement windows. The first-floor includes a sash window with glazing bars. The roof is finished with gable copings and end chimneys.
