Description

No 6 is a house located on the north side of Market Place, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The building is two storeys high, constructed of brick with a slate roof that is hipped to the left, where the left corner is built on a curve. The first floor features four vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a modern shop window to the left and a 19th-century rectangular bay to the right, which has a hipped tiled roof. The entrance consists of a six-panel central door set within a doorcase that has fluted pilasters. Above the pilasters, there is a projecting entablature decorated with triglyphs.
