Description

The Market Cross in Lambourn has medieval origins and features a shaft with a head that was restored in the 19th century. It stands on six steps made of Taynton limestone. The top step and the three lowest steps are original, as is the shaft, which is likely from the 18th century. It is designated as an Ancient Monument.
