Description
The garden walls located to the southeast and southwest of the former site of Lambourn Place, as well as on either side of the Lambourn Place gateway and running along Chapel Lane, date back to the 17th century. Constructed from sarsen stone, these walls vary in height from 4 to 8 feet. While some sloped coping remains, the top course has fallen away in places. The walls are noted for their good landscape value.
