Description

Hutton Bridge is a mid-18th century structure made of sandstone ashlar. It features two wide segmental arches with drip moulds, which are separated by pointed cutwaters. These cutwaters rise up and are chamfered on the outside and hollowed on the inside, creating half-hexagonal resting niches for foot passengers. The bridge has a plain coped parapet that is slightly splayed at the ends.
