Description

Number 9, which includes the back door to Number 9 (formerly Number 3) and incorporates former Numbers 11 and 13, is a building that was originally two cottages in a terrace but is now a single house divided into two distinct sections. The main part of Number 9 dates from the late 17th century, while the back door section is from the early 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a Cotswold stone slate roof with no visible stacks.

The main section is two storeys high with two small gables and has three windows, which are two-light wooden casements with concrete lintels, except for the central window that has a wooden lintel and is narrower. On the ground floor, there is a three-light wooden casement to the left, a two-light casement to the right, and a central 20th-century half-glazed door, all with wooden lintels.

The back door section is three storeys tall and has been significantly altered. The first floor features a single cambered stone arch with a three-light wooden casement. The second floor has a combination of half and one-light casements, while the ground floor includes a half-glazed door to the left and a garage door to the right. This range is included for group value only.
