Description
No. 12 The Green is a house in a terrace, dating from the early 18th century. It is built of rendered rubble stone and features a Cotswold stone slate roof with double Roman tiles at the rear. The house has two rubble stone gable stacks and consists of a single range that is two storeys tall with an attic.
The front has three windows, all of which are 12-pane sashes. On the ground floor, there are two similar sashes and a central doorcase that includes a shell hood supported by carved brackets. The doorcase has a beaded stone architrave with a keystone and a six-panel door, where the top two panels are glazed and the rest are fielded. Additionally, there is a central gabled dormer featuring twin 4-pane casements and a plinth at the base.
