Description
29 The Green is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble that has been painted white on the front. The roof is covered with renewed pantiles and features a rebuilt grey-brick chimney stack. The house has two storeys and three windows, with roughly-shaped alternating quoins. The door, which is off-centre, has been replaced, as have the sashes and casements, which include projecting sills. To the left, there is a canted bay window with a tripartite window above it, a casement window above the door, and a mid-wall stair window on the right. The steeply-pitched roof has slightly-swept eaves and a coped left gable with a shaped kneeler. There is a left end stack and a continuous single-storey pent outshut at the rear.
