Description
This is a barn located approximately 25 meters north-west of Dilleys Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof. The barn has a rectangular plan with projecting porches on both the north and south sides. There is a lean-to structure to the left of the south porch and to the right of the north porch, as well as an open-fronted store at the east gable end.
On the south front, there is a gabled porch located off-centre to the right, featuring a double-width doorway that does not have doors. Adjacent to this porch is a 2-light wooden casement and a plank door with early strap hinges leading to the lean-to. The north porch also has a double doorway that matches the one on the south. A pitching window with a ventilation slit is located above in the west gable end. Inside, the barn consists of 5 bays supported by collar and tie beam trusses made from mechanically sawn timbers.
