Description

Wiggold Lodge is a small toll house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins and features a stone slate roof, along with a small stone stack at the rear. The building is single storey and has a three-sided front facing the road. Each side of the polygonal front has a round-arched opening with voussoirs, flanked by two-light 20th-century windows and a 20th-century stable door. There is also a small 20th-century extension at the rear.
