Description

Preston Field Barn is an early 19th-century field barn constructed from coursed rubble stone with a stone slate roof. It features a large central projecting gabled cart entry on the south side, which has a timber lintel and double timber doors, along with a catslide roof over a lean-to on the left. On the north side, there is an opposed gabled entry with recessed double doors. A slit vent is located on the east side. The barn consists of five bays and has collar and tie beam trusses, with a first floor on the west side.
