Description
This is a round building located to the north of Whiteway Farmhouse, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of fine coursed and squared limestone, with no roof visible. The cylindrical structure is situated approximately 2 meters from the northeast end of the main farm building range. It features plain square-edged coping. On the north side, which is away from other buildings, there is a large plank door and a former side light set in a flat-fronted recess. The building is reported to be used as a store and water tower, but it may have originally served as a dovecote. It is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
