Description
15 and 15A The Waterloo is a house from the early 19th century. The front is made of limestone ashlar, while the right side and rear are constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble, and the left side is rendered. It has a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate and a rebuilt brick stack on the left side. The building is three stories high with a one-window range. On the first floor, there is one 6/6-pane sash window set in a plain reveal with a stone cill, and a similar window is located on the second floor. The ground floor features one similar window and a 20th-century part-glazed door in a plain reveal to the right, with signs of a former canopy porch. The building has a shallow plinth and band courses above the ground and first floors. The rear elevation includes 6/6-pane sashes with crown glass. Although the interior has not been inspected, there is a large buttress made of coursed squared limestone rubble on the front left, which is either a remnant of a former building or was built when the neighboring building was taken down.
