Description
The building is a granary, stable, and cartshed located north of Priory Farm, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone rubble with rough faced ashlar dressings and features a clay tile roof with raised coped verges on kneelers. The structure has two storeys and consists of four bays. It includes glazing bar casements and a ground floor cart entrance on the left with a massive lintel. There are two doorways in the centre, with the left doorway featuring a straight moulded lintel that is likely from the 16th century and possibly re-used. To the right, there is a first floor door to the granary, which is accessed by a flight of stone steps. The building forms a picturesque group within the farmyard.
