Description
Wiggold House is a detached house dating from the early 18th century, which was restored in the late 20th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone on a dressed stone plinth, featuring chamfered alternating quoins and a stone slate roof with stone end stacks. The building has a 'T'-shaped layout, with a 20th-century glazed room added in the rear left angle and a rebuilt porch that forms a catslide from the main range in the rear right angle.
The front range has two storeys and an attic, while the rear stem of the 'T' also has two storeys. There are four windows on the front, which are 12-pane sashes set in quoin surrounds with concrete lintels, and the same window style is present on the ground floor. The house features four gabled dormers with 2-light windows and tile-hung gables. Notably, the gap between the third and fourth windows from the left is slightly wider than the others. The rear wing primarily has 20th-century fenestration, including casements and triple sashes. There is a small single-storey wing with an attic to the right of the porch, which is supported by four half-round attached wooden columns.
