Description
Norcote Farmhouse is a large farmhouse dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed, dressed stone with alternating flush quoins, and has a stone slate roof with some artificial stone slates to the rear. Brick end stacks are located on the front range. The building is arranged as a double range, with two storeys and an attic in the gable ends. The front elevation has three windows, featuring large four-pane sash windows set in flush stone surrounds with large lintels, and three longer, similar windows on the ground floor. A projecting gabled porch is located on the west side of the rear range, containing double doors consisting of four flush panels each. Three hipped dormers are visible on the rear range.
