Description
No 8, Priors Court is a 20th-century conversion of part of the Old Manor House. The building is constructed of limestone rubble and has a stone slate roof, featuring a rectangular plan with two storeys and an attic. The entrance front has two windows and is lit by 20th-century single and three-light wooden casements with timber lintels. To the left is a 20th-century part-glazed plank door also with a timber lintel.
The south front, facing the road, includes a four-light stone-mullioned casement with a king mullion and a single-light casement with a flat-chamfered surround and hood to the right. Above, there is a three-light stone-mullioned casement. Both stone-mullioned casements have hollow-moulded surrounds and stopped hoods. A floating bressumer is positioned over the first-floor window. All casements feature horizontal glazing bars, and there are also 20th-century skylights. The interior has not been inspected.
