Description
The barn at Winson Farm, located approximately 30 meters west of the Village Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble limestone and features a concrete tile roof. The barn has five bays and includes a south porch with outshuts. The central porch on the south side has a hipped roof and a timber lintel above the barn doorway, which is fitted with plank doors. The outshuts flanking the porch include one on the left with a catslide roof and another on the right with a lean-to, both having small plank doors next to the porch. The east end has a parapet gable, while the roof is hipped at the west end. There is a barn doorway on the north side with partly glazed infill and an inserted casement window to the left. The interior has not been inspected. This barn is part of a group of two barns located alongside the road to Coln Rogers.
