Description
The building is a stables/store located approximately 10 metres north of Barrington Mill, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, featuring large dressed quoins. The roof is made of stone slate and artificial stone slate. The building has a rectangular plan with a garage lean-to on the north side and stands two storeys high. On the right side, there is a 19th-century plank door, with a single-light window to the left that was possibly part of a larger opening, which is now blocked. Above, there is a pitching window in the loft. To the right, there are double doors leading to the garage lean-to.
