Description
No. 2 Minnow Lane is a detached cottage located in Little Barrington Village, built in the early 19th century. The cottage features coursed squared and dressed limestone with a concrete tile roof and an ashlar stack. It has a rectangular plan with a lean-to at the rear and is one and a half storeys tall.
On the ground floor, there is a two-light 19th-century casement window with glazing bars, and a small single-light window on the first floor. The left gable end has a three-light wooden casement with horizontal glazing bars on the ground floor, while a 19th-century plank door is situated to the right. The first floor also has a two-light wooden casement with horizontal glazing bars. The cottage has a gable-end stack.
The interior has not been inspected. This building was originally constructed as a charity cottage.
