Description

No. 20 is a detached cottage located in Windrush Village, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof. The cottage has been restored in the 20th century, including the stacks which are made of ashlar. The main body has a rectangular plan and is one and a half storeys high. There are two 2-light dormers at the eaves and three 2-light casement windows on the ground floor, two of which have flat-chamfered surrounds. All windows are 20th-century wooden casements. A 20th-century gabled porch with double plank doors is located on the far right. The cottage features an axial stack and gable-end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
