Description

No. 18 The Green is a house that forms the right half of a pair, built in the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a stone slate roof with ashlar stacks that were restored in the 20th century. The building has a rectangular plan and a symmetrical facade that is two stories high with two windows. On the first floor, there are two 2-light stone-mullioned casements, while the ground floor has two 3-light stone-mullioned casements. The central entrance consists of a 19th-century six-panel door, with the upper two panels glazed, set within a flat-chamfered surround. The gable ends have flat coping, and there are gable-end stacks with moulded cappings. The interior has not been inspected.
