Description
This cottage, located at the end of a row on The Green in Windrush Village, dates from the 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed roughly squared limestone with squared and dressed quoins, topped by a stone slate roof. The chimney stacks have been restored in the 20th century, with one made of ashlar and the other rendered. The building has a rectangular plan and is two stories high, featuring a two-windowed facade. The ground floor has two 2-light casements with flat-arched heads, all of which are steel casements with horizontal glazing bars. There is a 20th-century gabled porch to the left of the center, which includes a studded plank door. The cottage has stacks at both gable ends and flat coping at the left gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
