BASTON MAIN STREET (south side) Former stables, now garage to east of Manor House (formerly listed as Stables of Manor House)

Stable block, now garage. 1798, altered C20. Coursed and banded limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. Collyweston slate roof and stone coped gables. Single storey plus loft, 2 bay front having planked door with flat ashlar lintel and to right double planked doors under timber lintel. To the eaves a datestone "1798". In the loft a single fixed light in plain ashlar surround.
