Description

This is a barn located east of Cardyke Farmhouse, built in 1775. It is constructed from coursed and banded limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is covered with concrete tiles and has raised stone coped gables. The barn is a single storey with a two-bay front, which includes central planked doors with a timber lintel and a single plain fixed light at the eaves. There are square breathers present. Above the double doors on the opposite side, there is a datestone that reads "1775".
