Description

This is a late 18th-century pigeoncote located east of Cardyke Farmhouse. It is built from squared coursed limestone rubble and features ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof has been removed, and it has stone-coped gables. The structure is a single storey plus loft, with a single bay front that includes a central planked door topped by an ashlar lintel with a keystone. Inside, the pigeoncote retains nesting boxes lined with brick.
