Description
This outbuilding, located approximately 15 meters northwest of the Manor House, is likely to have originally served as domestic accommodation but is now used as stables and a garage. It dates from the 17th and 18th centuries and features a partially legible 18th-century datestone. The structure is built of regularly coursed lias banded with limestone ashlar and has a slate roof. It was probably originally two units with haylofts above. The building has a two-window range of two-light stone-mullioned windows with leaded lights at both ends. There is a stable door to the left of center, which is set under a stone lintel with a keyblock, and a 20th-century garage door to the right of center. The gable ends have ashlar parapets and remnants of stone stacks. The datestone is located above the garage door. The interior has not been inspected.
