Description

The property comprises a farmhouse, now a house, and an attached barn, dating from approximately 1741 and built for Rev. Eyre-Whalby. The farmhouse is constructed of squared coursed lias stone with a thatched roof. Originally, it likely had a three-unit plan. It is two storeys high with an attic, and features a three-window range of 20th-century casement windows set in original openings, each with a gauged stone arch. The gables have ashlar parapets, and brick stacks are located at the ends of the building. A partially legible CIS datestone is visible on the left gable. Attached to the right is a barn with a thatched roof.
