Description

The building is a former barn that has been converted into stables, dating from the 17th century and altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble and features an asbestos sheet roof. The structure is two storeys high with a five-bay front that includes two planked doors and three louvred lights, all set beneath a timber lintel. Above these, there is a small single planked opening at the eaves. The gable end facing the street has a single-storey lean-to added in the 19th century, which has a pantile roof. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
