Description

School Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped with a Collyweston slate roof featuring raised stone coped gables and two moulded stone gable stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high with a garret. The front has two bays, which include a single two-light window and a three-light window on the ground floor, and a pair of two-light windows on the first floor. All windows are sliding glazing bar sashes with segmental stone heads.
