Description
Home Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was significantly remodelled and extended in the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is concrete tiled with raised stone coped gables, a single gable stone stack, and a ridge brick stack. The building is arranged in an L-shape. The front of the farmhouse has two storeys and five bays, with the right-hand bay, originally from the 17th century, being advanced and gabled. An off-centre entrance has a six-panelled door flanked by single glazing bar sashes. To the right are two similar windows, one smaller. The first floor has four similar windows. All openings have plain ashlar lintels.
