Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory, now a house, dating from the early 19th century and extended in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, with some parts colourwashed, and features a hipped concrete tiled roof with overhanging eaves, along with two ridge stacks and a single wall stack made of red brick. The building is two storeys high and originally had a three-bay front, to which two additional bays were added on the right later.
The entrance is off-centre and consists of a six flush panelled door with an overlight, framed by a stucco pilaster surround and covered by a slender Doric portico. On either side of the entrance are single glazing bar sash windows, with an additional six panelled door with an overlight located to the right. The first floor features four glazing bar sash windows, with a blank opening to the right. All openings are topped with flat splayed rubbed brick arches.
