Description
The lychgate to the Church of St. Andrew, built around 1896 by J. L. Pearson, features squared limestone rubble walls with ashlar dressings and a slate roof adorned with deeply scalloped bargeboards. It has a pair of wooden gates set between stone walls, which are supported by chamfered timber posts that hold arch-braced ties to the roof. Inside, the gate has a trilobed boarded roof.
