Description
Dairy Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with a mid-18th century addition and mid-19th century alterations. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and features a pantile roof with raised stone coped gables and two brick gable stacks. The building is two storeys high with a garret and has a three-bay front. On the left side, there is a half-glazed door with an overlight, and to the right, there are two margin light sash windows. The first floor has three similar windows. To the left, there is a lower recessed 18th-century single bay flanking wing, which includes a tripartite plain sash window on the ground floor and a glazing bar sash window on the first floor. All openings are topped with plain splayed ashlar lintels. At the rear, there is a wing made of coursed limestone rubble.
