Description
Manor Farmhouse and Manor Farm Cottage, along with attached farm buildings, were originally a house and barn but are now used as a house, cottage, and farm buildings. They date from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The structure is built from coursed squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has slate and pantile roofs with raised stone coped gables. There are two yellow brick gable stacks and a single ridge stack, along with two red brick ridge stacks.
The building is two stories high with attics and has a five-bay front. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door, flanked by two 19th-century canted bay windows with plain sashes. To the left of the door, there is one single window and a two-light window, all of which are plain sashes. On the first floor, there are four margin light sash windows. The roof features two gabled dormers with margin light sashes and leaded cheeks.
To the left, there is a range of farm buildings with a pantile roof, which has been partly converted into a cottage. This range has a two-story, eleven-bay front, with 20th-century planked double doors on the right side, alongside an opening, a three-light 20th-century window, and a door. To the left, there is another planked door and six windows, all with yellow brick segmental heads. On the first floor, there are two planked openings, a glazing bar sash, and a 20th-century through-eaves dormer.
