Description

This building is a barn and stables, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features stone-slate roofs. The barn has five bays, a central porch, and double doors on opposite sides. The stable range includes a central doorway with a loft door above, flanked by segmental-arched windows. The right gable has a two-light stone-mullioned window with a straight label mould and a crude stone finial. At the rear, there is an outshut that connects to the barn on the left. Additionally, a 19th-century cast-iron pump is located against the rear wall of the stable. This building is part of an attractive farm complex that includes Manor Farmhouse and the implement shed, and it is included for its group value.
