Description
This building is a barn and stable located approximately 50 metres south of Village Farmhouse, dating from 1758 as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features a plain-tile roof, forming an L-shaped range. The four-bay barn includes opposed full-height doors to the right of centre and slits in the outer bays. The stable range, which projects from the left, has a doorway and two small windows, all with segmental arches, along with a central stone external stair leading to a loft door. Inside, the barn boasts king post trusses made of sawn timbers. This structure is included for its group value.
