Description

The Rockies is a 17th-century house located in Fencott. It is constructed of limestone rubble, some laid in courses, with wooden lintels, and has a thatched roof with a ridge stack built of rubble and brick. The house follows a three-unit lobby-entry plan and has one storey plus an attic. The front elevation features a plank door positioned to the left of centre, flanked by three-light casement windows. A smaller three-light casement is located in the right bay. The first floor has two large three-light dormers, likely dating from the early 20th century. All windows have diamond-leaded glazing. At the rear, further small casements and small blocked dormers are present, and a rear door is aligned with the stack. A substantial rubble stack with three diagonal brick shafts is also a notable feature. The interior has not been inspected.
