Description

Village Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse located on Church Lane in Charlton on Otmoor. It is constructed from limestone rubble, with some sections being coursed, and features wooden lintels. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has brick stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high, plus an attic. The right side of the three-window street front consists of two bays made of coursed rubble, which may be slightly later than the left bay. Each bay has renewed two-light casements on both floors. The roof includes stacks positioned to the left of the centre and on the right gable. The entrance is located at the rear of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
