Description

Ivy Farmhouse is a 1737 farmhouse located in Fencott. It is constructed of limestone rubble with some squared dressings, and has a plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. The farmhouse follows an L-plan. The symmetrical three-window front has a central four-panel door, protected by a 19th-century bracketed canopy, and features square windows with stone flat arches. The left gable wall contains two small, blocked first-floor windows, and a datestone inscribed "N/TE/1737". A lower rear wing returns to the right, and includes a heavy-framed doorway with a moulded-plank door. The interior was not inspected.
