Description
Boltons Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from 1736, as indicated by a datestone on the rear. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a hipped stone slate roof with stone end stacks that were rebuilt in the 20th century on the right side. The building has a double-depth plan and is two storeys tall, presenting a symmetrical five-window range. The facade includes chamfered timber lintels above a 19th-century plank door, which has an overlight and is sheltered by a late 19th-century trellised porch. The windows are from the 20th century. Although the interior was not inspected, it has been noted that it was remodelled around 1980.
