Description
Fieldhead is a farmhouse dated 1737, with later alterations. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a plain tile roof with brick integral end stacks. The building has an end baffle-entry plan, aligned east-west and facing south, with an extension to the west on the same alignment. It stands three storeys tall, with reduced proportions on the second floor. The facade has two bays and includes three-light chamfer mullioned windows on the ground and first floors, the ground-floor windows having straight hood moulds, while there are single-light windows on the second floor. A door is located to the left. There is a two-storey, single-bay extension to the left, which has a ground-floor casement and a first-floor two-light chamfer mullioned window, with a door to the right.
