Description
Fiveacres is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, which has been partly rebuilt. It is constructed from colourwashed limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features a thatched roof with a brick gable stack. The building has a three-unit plan with a secondary range and is one storey plus an attic.
The front of the main rubble range has three windows and a doorway located to the left of centre, alongside a small casement. The outer bays contain renewed two-light casements. The roof is adorned with three small two-light dormers that have tiled aprons, and there is a stack on the right side. The range set back to the left has been partly rebuilt with a rendered front but retains a thatched roof with a dormer. The rear of the main range features similar windows, an additional doorway, and three small dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
